2.      Our second division event is the AIDS Walk. AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is acquired AIDS after birth. Your body's immune system includes all the organs and cells that work to fight off infection or disease. You get AIDS when your immune system is "deficient," or isn't working the way it should. AIDS is a syndrome, rather than a single disease, because it is a complex illness with a wide range of complications and symptoms. The AIDS Walk will take place on May 18th, 2014.

~Instructions:

        1. Members who are interested in attending should submit their names to their club presidents. Club Presidents will then submit your names and information to I. We are walking as a division. In addition we will be walking with Divisions 8, 8A, and 11.

        2. We will meet as DIvision 9 at 5th Avenue and 59 Street at 8:45 a.m.
